according to the rangers, the mother elephant was seriously injured after falling into a poacher’s trap. When discovered, it was exhausted, while the baby elephant was still clinging to its side, emitting miserable cries. The rescue team tried their best to inject medicine and give it IV fluids, hoping to save it.
